When I was a kid, I was obsessed with mazes.

I would make intricate mazes in the snow of my yard or the school playground for epic games of fox & geese. It was so fun!

I also drew mazes, even getting one published in a national astronomy magazine for kids called Odyssey. I made a colorful maze with markers of the planet Mars, and you had to get through it without running into any ‘man-eating aliens.’

Needless to say, I had quite the imagination!

My obsession for mazes is based on my love to wander, to explore new pathways in places like the mountains or foreign cities. It is also based in wonder, curiosity, and the need to find out what is ‘just around the corner.’

That’s why I created MazeQuests for kids (and adults) of all ages who like to be challenged to find the right path, who aren’t afraid to reach a dead end, and who can retrace their path and keep going until they find the way out.

I will be adding new mazes often with different themes, such as nature or holidays coming up, and they will be at different levels with easy mazes that don’t have too many veering pathways & dead ends, to intermediate, hard, and maybe ultra hard with multi-pages & code words to solve.

And the cool thing is—they will all be made by hand, using colorful markers. No computer generated mazes here! And they are easy to print in PDF form once purchased. I am also offering them all for under $1.

So go ahead and print out your mazes, get yourself a pencil & get lost in one of our MazeQuest mazes. And if you like it, come back for others to be dowloaded in the future.

There may also be a MazeQuest Adventure story in the works, complete with a wizard, elves & dwarves, fairies and other magical characters—where each maze determines what happens in the story. Think of it like a ‘Choose your own Adventure’ book with mazes!
